Gillianne

Gillianne is a primary and special education teacher who deeply believes that every child has the ability to learn. She earned a Master's degree in education from Bank Street College of Education and has been using her teaching experience to learn how to work with learners of all abilities. Gillianne has taught in public and private schools in and around New York City. During her time there, she developed a unique teaching style that balances learning and play. She has worked as a classroom teacher, as well as a literacy leader and private tutor for many years. She is a licensed teacher in the US, UK, and Netherlands.

Nyvette

As an educator, she believes deeply in the power of critical thinking and problem-solving, guiding her students to explore and question the world around them. 

She has received specific training to cater to a diverse range of learning needs, ensuring every child feels supported and understood in her classroom. She is a strong advocate for equity and inclusion and has contributed significantly to creating spaces where every student, regardless of background or ability, has the opportunity to thrive and feel valued. 

Isabel

As a parent, teacher, and educational consultant, Isabel Cruz understands the challenges of navigating school systems from all angles. She moved to Amsterdam from the US in 2017 when her child was 4 years old. Two weeks after arriving, her child began attending their local primary school with almost no knowledge of the Dutch language. Isabel has been an educator for 20 years and teaches and consults at international schools in Amsterdam and the surrounding area.
